Illinois is my birthplace, but the state of Washington is my home. I will tell you a secret....I have always wanted to live here. I had the biggest crush on Sonny Sixkiller ( from the Husky football team) when I was in highschool. He is still a hunk.

   But to get on with my rambling.....I have been making things ever since I can remember. I started out knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Then when I got to 8th grade, it was sewing.

 that was my costant love. I sew to this day.

   Believe it or not, but I didn't start with fine art until my freshman year of highschool. That was what took me over the edge..... I was hooked. I even got to go to a retreat with a few hundred of my fellow classmates from around the state. We spent a week at an old estate house called Allerton. I was chosen by my art teacher to attend. WOW...what an experience!
